EURO NITES SEATTLE:
FEBRUARY 5th, 2005:
Euro Nites was the first of many up and coming events for Seattle and their surrounding areas, with February 5th, being the first planned for the 2005 season.
Euro Nites was composed of European car enthusiasts from Seattle and their neighboring cities and states, with participants attending from all over the Pacific Northwest. With the pre-event numbers polled in the hundreds, Euro Nites was sure to have a great turn out.
On the night of February 5th, the overcast weather and stormy clouds did not hinder the spirits of Seattle's car enthusiasts, as they prepared for first Euro Nites event. Many of the attendees scoped out the areas of interest with pre Euro Nites events.
The first rendezvous site was Northgate Mall for cruises stemming from Vancouver, Burlington, Puyallup, Tacoma and even Portland. With multiple cruises, European car enthusiasts swarmed the location in masses. The event was a hit from the beginning, with easily 150+ participants.
Once gathered, the group quickly moved onto the next location, which posed to be even better. It was a sight to see such a large number cruising together.
The whispers, awes and camera flashes were heard and seen as the plethora of European cars streamed into Krispy Kreme, the designated meeting spot for the night's festivities. Groups of European cars poured in from other pre-arranged meeting locations. The numbers slowly grew to around the 300 mark. Krispy Kreme was definitely a good site, with sweet doughnuts and even sweeter cars!
The last and final location was Leilani Lanes. It was simply an amusing time to see all the cars trying to get into the underground parking garage, while leaving a piece of their car as a memento for Leilani Lanes. The cold weather finally brought the majority of the enthusiasts inside, to play a game or two of friendly competitive bowling.
Dion aka phattydre and Louie aka SeattleTuning canvassed the crowd for some generous donations, whose proceeds went to the Tsunami Relief Aid headed by Mercy Corps. With the night coming to a close, a fraction of the hopeful stayed behind to see what they could win from the raffle. Almost everyone was a winner last night thanks to all the great contributions from all our sponsors.
To all those people that participated, thanks for making this memorable event. To all those people who brought their cameras, thanks for capturing a few memories. To all the sponsors who contributed, thanks for providing donations for a great cause, and we look forward to have the continued support.
HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AT THE NEXT EVENT!

Oh, yeah okay gotta slow the rice rockets down a bit. I like my two favorite cars lately, a mazda protoge lowered on stock wheels, not even like snow tires, just lame ass stock wheels. Oh and the other one, dunno what it was, but it had a big MOMO Corsa or whatever sticker on the windshield, but I looked in, couldn't find anything made by momo anywhere inside. It was funny really, I was expecting at least a shift knob or something. nope. yeah, some people should just ride the bus.
